Every year during the second week of June, snowmobile enthusiasts, manufacturers, suppliers, and representatives from state, provincial and national snowmobile organizations from around the world meet to celebrate the sport and to do the business of snowmobiling at the International Snowmobile Congress. Individual participants include representatives from snowmobile and groomer manufacturers; state and federal administration, national, regional, and state snowmobile associations, local state snowmobile clubs, recreational motorized enforcement agencies; tourism and media. Leaders will meet at this conference for education, collaboration, networking, and fun!
Why attend ISC 2022?
Snowmobiling is one of the largest outdoor activities worldwide and the largest motorized winter sport. Snowmobilers create a major economic impact contributor throughout 27 Snow Belt States, Canada, Scandinavia, and Russia. It's estimated that snowmobiling contributes more than $30 Billion of economic activity in North America alone.
The International Snowmobile Congress is an event dedicated to the development of collaboration of snowmobilers worldwide, and cooperation with and respect to the environment, conservation, access, education, and accountability.
Meet your host for ISC 2022:
The Iowa State Snowmobile Association (ISSA)
The Iowa State Snowmobile Association (ISSA), www.iowasnowmobiler.comThe Iowa State Snowmobile Association (ISSA) is a nonprofit corporation formed in 1973 to unite Iowa snowmobile clubs. The ISSA works throughout the year to ensure snowmobile and other outdoor access, defend against discriminatory legislation, regulations, and undue taxes. The ISSA promotes the growth of organized snowmobiling and provides safety education for Youth and new snowmobilers throughout the state. The volunteers of the Iowa Snowmobile clubs of the ISSA provide more than 8,800 miles of groomed snowmobile trails and the signs and equipment to maintain the trails. The members of the ISSA elect officers and region directors to guide the association and work with the Iowa Department of Resources (DNR) and ISSA Review and Selection Committee (RSC) governing bodies that provide law enforcement, club funding and legislative resources.
